Creative Commons - Muse Me
These songs are creative commons protected; they are royalty-free songs. So I encourage musicians to play, record, and sell your performances of these songs, and send me mp3 files of them. I'd love to hear them. If you make videos, you are free to use these songs in the background. Once again, send me your videos when you're done. I'd love to see them. These songs are also just great to listen to with meaningful messages behind each one.

- Dans Ta Voix - I wrote this song in France about how beautiful the French accent sounds.
- I Will Lie - I liked the double meaning behind "I will lie with you." It could be an admission to love, or dispicable intent.

- You'll Never Love Again - Inspired by an anonymous poem circulating email about someone in love with "just a friend" who has just broken up with another.
- I Feel Free - Written in honor of my sister's wedding.
- Meeting the Man - When a teacher of mine told me "Hell on Earth is meeting the man you could have been," that really hit home.

From silly to soulful, Ezra Barany pours 110% of his heart and soul into every song he composes and performs. In his latest alblum, we are again privileged to hear the full spectrum of Ezra's talent. Still Stand Strong is very simple vocals and piano, yet put together, form a very richly emotional outpouring. On the opposite end, Muse Me will make you put down everything and dance. Ezra has a lot of fun with this song and a friend brings great guitar chords to the fun. There is no one better than Ezra and this latest alblum reminds us why. |

- Be - I wrote this on Valentine's Day for my wife.
- Shining Spirit - In a dark hour of mine, this song was a way to tell myself how to overcome it.
- She Lights A Candle - Do you know anyone that can turn around hard times into a positive experience? This song's for them.
- My Hungarian Girl - In Israel, I took Hebrew classes and met a Hungarian girl there. This song's about her.
- In One Million Years - A song expressing my fear of having made little influence in the world during my lifetime.
- Muse Me - This song was an appeal to my muse for inspiration. After all, many of these songs were written in one month, February 2009, as a challenge to write 10 songs in one month.
- When You're In Love - A song about the way I interact with my beloved.
- The Love Inside of Me - The first song of mine with a Latin rhythm. The words ask what I can do to show my wife how much I love her.
- Still Stand Strong - An Irish-sounding song, reminiscent of Enya, about how I'm able to confront my biggest hardships.

Muse Me and Meeting the Man are my two favorite songs. Actually, Meeting the Man kicks the s*** out of Muse Me. Meeting the Man is a postmodern fire, the kind of song I listen to when I feel like Sisyphus trudging up that hill one more time. Reminds me a lot of "TV on Radio." |
